Then you're ready for Suicide Sports Pools !
A suicide pool is simply a competition where each player simply picks one team a week, which must win their match.
The catch is that specific selection can only be chosen once a season. If your team wins, you go on to the next week, where you must select from the teams you have not picked up until that given week in the schedule. If they lose, you are out.
The last competitor standing wins the pot.
The beauty of this type of competition is its 100% skill and no % luck. Throughout a typical football seasons, all teams are going to win and therefore the skill comes in predicting when this will happen. It does not take a rocket scientist to work out that the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are going to win more than they lose.
The real skill comes in deciding at which point you are going to pick a "lesser" team, I won't upset anyone by naming them) to perform for you. If you can get one or two of the "not so great" teams to chalk up an early win for you, later in the season when everyone else in the pool is struggling to pick a team to win for them, you may be the only one left with a couple of "big teams" left to "show you the money" !
